Pedal News

Guitarist Robben Ford plays a Fender Stratocaster and Mad Professor guitar effects pedals.

It’s official! Robben Ford depends on Mad Professor pedals for his tone.

There are few players whose tone commands the respect of other guitarists quite like Robben Ford.

As he embarks on his UK winter tour, Robben has added a Deep Blue Delay to his dependable Silver Spring Reverb on his pedalboard. Not only that, but he's also now using the new Simble for his distinctive lead tone.

Check it out here (Robben talks through his pedalboard at about 8.04).

New Release!

Empress Buffer Plus Plus guitar effect pedal.

With the new Empress Buffer Plus Plus, the Canadian tone masters have risen the bar on what a buffer / router can be capable of.

A staggering level of control over the most complicated of setups is now possible from this little beast. Buffering doesn’t even begin to tell the story. There are 12 different modes of switching to manage your mono & stereo setups with ease and audiophile sound quality.
